Product Description
Toni Pons Costa-5 Mint Leather Espadrilles. These closed toe wedges are handmade from soft pale green leather with lots of padding underfoot. The toe box is perfectly cut and comes up high, accomodating problem areas like bunions (the leather is SO soft) and the cut is very flattering on the foot. The slim adjustable ankle strap buckles with a gold buckle and the foot is kept in check with the comfortable woven jute heel counter. This high wedge is made from natural jute and thanks to that platform is wearable and doesn’t feel high at all. Crafted with traditional skill in Spain.

To look after your leather upper and weatherproof it against dirt and rain, we recommend spraying with Collonil Waterstop Spray before first use, and regularly thereafter.
If the jute soles get dirty wait for them to dry if they are wet. Use an old toothbrush to gently brush off dry mud or dirt. Dry away from direct sunlight and away from a direct heat source.
Jute is a natural tough vegetable fibre. Do not immerse in water. If your espadrilles happen to get wet, place them on their side, in a warm area, not in direct sunlight, nor in front of a direct heat source. You can use a hairdryer on a low heat/speed. You can try some bicarb of soda on the jute (only) to absorb moisture. Do not put in a washing machine.
