One of our perennial favourites., this fabulous sandal is so very Spanish in her (very good!) looks, thanks to the perfect coloured tan leather (not too yellow, not too red, just wonderful on all skin tones) and the soft textured fabric at the heel. I mean, I am sure this espadrille even talks Spanish! Love love love it with crisp white shorts, but just stop me from wearing her all summer long. Especially when the pedi is not fab…

Product Description
Toni Pons Costa Tan Leather Espadrilles are handmade, with a traditional closed toe, fabric heel design. The toe is almond shaped, the heel is covered thanks to the soft braided fabric in this area, and there is a slender around ankle strap, adjustable with a buckle. This mid heel is made from natural jute, and has been hand-stitched with cotton thread, sitting atop a non-slip rubber sole. Crafted with traditional skill in Spain.

To look after your leather upper and weatherproof it against dirt and rain, we recommend spraying with Collonil Waterstop Spray before first use, and regularly thereafter.
If the jute soles get dirty wait for them to dry if they are wet. Use an old toothbrush to gently brush off dry mud or dirt. Dry away from direct sunlight and away from a direct heat source.
Jute is a natural tough vegetable fibre. Do not immerse in water. If your espadrilles happen to get wet, place them on their side, in a warm area, not in direct sunlight, nor in front of a direct heat source. You can use a hairdryer on a low heat/speed. You can try some bicarb of soda on the jute (only) to absorb moisture. Do not put in a washing machine.
