Toni Pons Bernia Ocean Leather Espadrilles tick all the boxes. Handmade, in the style of a peeptoe slingback, the supple blue leather upper is expertly cut to flatter and support the foot and is so kind to wider feet and bunions.  The behind heel strap has a mini strip of elastic allowing for a supportive yet flexible fit.  This low wedge sandal has a natural toned jute wrapped sole, and has been hand-stitched with cotton thread, sitting atop a slip resistant rubber sole. Crafted with traditional skill in Spain.

To look after your leather and jute upper and weatherproof it against dirt and rain, we recommend spraying with Collonil Waterstop Spray before first use, and regularly thereafter.

If the jute soles get dirty wait for them to dry if they are wet. Use an old toothbrush to gently brush off dry mud or dirt.  Dry away from direct sunlight and away from a direct heat source.

Jute is a natural tough vegetable fibre. Do not immerse in water.  If your espadrilles happen to get wet, place them on their side, in a warm area, not in direct sunlight, nor in front of a direct heat source.  You can use a hairdryer on a low heat/speed. You can try some bicarb of soda on the jute (only) to absorb moisture. Do not put in a washing machine.
